This DC Microgrid was specially designed to implement the vision of a 5 kW DC microgrid with a multiplicity of components such as solar photovoltaic array emulator, battery, grid-connected inverter, two-wheeler electric vehicle charger, SMPS, and supercapacitor. All the converters in this microgrid communicate either through wired or wireless control mode with automatic constant current, constant voltage mode.
